Here's a round-up of some the major stories that have been popping up.
Firstly, Twilight Lexicon picked up on a story about Michael Welch and his forth-coming performance in ACZONE the Musical. You can read about that here, and as TL suggests, form your own opinions about it based on the information they have.
At the Twi-Tour in Atlanta, Georgia this weekend, New Moon stars Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz answered a few fan questions about their experience in working with Robert Pattinson, on the set of the films, and the like. You can see one video of such questions below, and others at Cullen Boys Anonymous. One thing you'll notice from the Kellan Lutz's portion of the interview is the fact that he is a proponent of seeing Remember Me star Robert Pattinson make his way onto the New Moon soundtrack, as he claims Pattinson turns into a talented angel once he starts singing.
A lot of Twilight fan-sites are reporting that their readers saw the trailer for The Twilight Saga: New Moon playing in front of Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince opening night (which was, by the way, a very profitable one, indeed, with several sources reporting that HP6 pulled in $22 million in midnight showings alone). While this wasn't the case for the theater I went to, Twilight Source has the accounts of their readership to that end.
Finally, Summit Entertainment has topped DVD sales charts once more with their latest releases Knowing and Push (starring New Moon and The Runaways star Dakota Fanning). According to a new Reuters report, "Upstart studio Summit Entertainment scored its second No. 1 DVD hit this year, with the sci-fi thriller "Knowing" debuting in the top spot on both the national sales and rental charts. ... Summit also claimed the No. 2 spot on both the sales and the rental chart with another sci-fi entry, "Push," which earned $31.8 million in theaters."
